KN BIO RESEARCH FOUNDATION

Undertook a TDF (MAA THOTA) project by NABARD in Dhammapet mandal of Khammam district. New mango and cashew orchards are developed through this project for the tribal farmers. Regular medical and vocational camps are held to improve the locals’ quality of life.

Several widow women were trained on the implementation of organic farming and were guided to set up vermicompost units. Some of them have now become consultants for organic farming and certification.

"Revive the Nature" programme in collaboration with the Blue Cross Foundation to donate biofertilizers to 200 youth. Several model organic farms have been developed in different districts by giving valuable guidance to the farmers and supporting them in all situations from the time of land preparation until the harvest of the crop.

Andhra Pradesh undertook an adoption and certification project in 1500Ha through SHM. We worked on cashews, mangoes, and vegetables. Haryana SHM has allotted 500Ha to us for organic farming of vegetables. Through ITDA, we have successfully completed the adoption and certification of organic farms in 896Ha.

  • We have conducted several training programmes for farmers to bring about awareness on

    organic farming.

  • Organic farming of citrus was promoted in Nalgonda and Mehboobnagar districts. We have been

    successful in getting high-quality yields of citrus with low cost investment by implementing

    IPM and INM methods are here.

  • We train the farmers to prepare their own panchagavyam and plant extract liquid on their own.

  • We have undertaken organic farming projects and implemented them under SHM and ITDA for around 2000 ha in various districts like RangaReddy, West Godavari, and Khammam in AP.

  • We have developed a package of practices for ginger in Medak district and for turmeric, chilies and tobacco in Guntur. Excellent results were achieved.

  • We also participate as resource persons in state horticulture training programmes.

  • In Ranga Reddy district, we have helped the grape farmers cultivate export-quality grapes with the help of our bioproducts.

  • 500ha in the Haryana State Horticulture Mission and 500 ha in the Chattisgarh State Horticulture Department.

  • KN Biosciences serves as a service provider for the Organic Farming Authority of Jharkhand (OFAJ). KN Bioscience has worked to select farmers and form them to groups in order to implement organic farming. KN Biosciences has established around 50 ICS groups, totaling around 3000 farmers in various districts of Chatra, Jamtara, Lohawdaga, Deoghar, Seraikela-Kharsawan, West Singham, and Sahibganj.
